I have developed a method to extract hydrogen from water using minimal electrical power and am now researching the production of green hydrogen using solar panels. For more than two decades I have been researching how to break water to get hydrogen: it was until 2019 that I discovered a process that only needs one volt and almost not amperes when the traditional technology needs 2 volts. A technology reduces costs and has a broad range of applications. However, last week (11/08/2024) Hydrogen was generated in the solar cell experiments at a voltage of 0.8 V and 10 mA, which is considerably less than the standard 2 Volt used for traditional hydrolysis.
